Decorate With Candles In Every Room

Decorate With Candles In Every Room

There's something inviting and warming about a room with the look of a candle flickering in it. Maybe it's the cozy feel candles give off or the smell that gives the room some type of feeling. Lighting candles at home sets the room's mood and creates an intimacy that makes guests feel welcome. Placing candles around can transform the look of any area of your home and improve your space. Instead of taking on a whole remodeling project, I'd say try this affordable option first.

With the right scent and placement, you can transform the look and feel of any room in your home. Most people use different pieces of furniture to transform a space in their home and purchase certain décor pieces to create the perfect theme. Believe it or not, you can get the same results by using the right kind of scented candle and incorporating them into your spaces. Aside from our natural soy candles smelling good, candles also blend in as nice decorative pieces throughout the house and give the area just what it's missing. There are so many options and scents when it comes to candles that decorating possibilities are endless. On top of that, candle accessories like tin candle holders or canopy candle holders are great for that extra pop as well. Candles are a staple in almost every house and, in my opinion, underrated.

Let's start with the dining room. Regardless of the style you have going on, you can always make the table more welcoming and complete with a soy candle! If you want to get extra fancy, you can mix the candle into a centerpiece or cluster a few together. This will create a warmer, more welcoming environment for you and your guests.

When it comes to the living room, I mentally drift to a mood that's cozy and warm, almost like being wrapped in a blanket. You can place candles on a decorative tray on your coffee table or even add one of our candle holders to create warmth. All that's missing is a few other table accents, and you can create such a cozy environment that makes you want to kick your shoes off and sit back. Candles in the living room are a must in my book!

The kitchen might not seem like a space that needs decorating, but candles can definitely do the trick. You can place a candle where you have open space or scatter a few on your countertops. Since the kitchen is where the cooking is done, I always light to burn candles that smell fresh like lemon, orange, or anything citrus to get that just cleaned smell. If it's not something fresh and clean scented, I love the aroma of food-scented candles like the Banana Nut Bread scent or Nutty Pumpkin Waffles!

When your long day is over, and you finally make it into your bedroom, you want to unwind. You can decorate your bedroom in ways that make the room the coziest place in your home. On your nightstand, place a candle in the corner, play around with things, and add a small candle next to a larger one. This will create a warm, nightly glow. I'd recommend scents such as lavender, eucalyptus, or whatever your favorite scent is in the bedroom. After all, it's your space, but I always have a candle on my nightstand. You can add candles to the top of your dresser with a jewelry tray and other little accessories. Adding more than just one candle alone allows the candle to blend in and makes the area look more natural.

Of course, you don't spend most of your time in the bathroom, but you want to feel like you've escaped to the spa when you get there. If you have a bath tray, you can soak in a warm bath while having a candle burning and making the room feel even more zen. Lighting a candle in the bathroom and running the bath is one of life's simple pleasures. Not only are you unwinding, but the bathroom smells heavenly. You can also place fresh-scented natural soy candles on the countertop next to the sink for a casual, classy look.

No matter where you end up placing candles in your space, you can't go wrong. Candles are always a great addition to change the feel, look, and scent of a room. Whether you want to bring energy to the room or make it warm and cozy, there's a scent that will take you there and add that missing touch.
